Teen shot and killed in Athens overnight

ATHENS - An 18-year-old was shot and killed in Athens early Friday morning.<br /> <br /> According to Fox 5, Jordanius Randolph was found lying behind some hedges near a residence. Despite aid from the responding officers, the teenager passed away at the scene before emergency services arrived.<br /> <br /> Police received a call about shots being fired on Westchester Circle at about 1 a.m., according to the TV station.<br /> <br /> The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting Athens-Clarke County police and the Clarke County Coroner's Office in the investigation.<br />
