GAINESVILLE - Police said a man suffered what was thought to be a non-life threatening injury in a shooting Tuesday night at Gainesville's City Park.<br />
In a press statement, Gainesville Police Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said the shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m.<br />
Holbrook said when officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment.<br />
Holbrook said there were several people together at the park at the time of the shooting. He said the incident does not appear to be a random crime.<br />
An investigation continues.<br />
