GAINESVILLE - Just over 2,600 people took advantage of early voting in Hall County in advance of Tuesday's primaries.
Early voting ended Friday. It began April 28 and included one day of Saturday voting, which was a week ago.
Hall County Elections Director Charlotte Sosebee says of the 2,622 people who voted over the past three weeks, 248 chose Democratic ballots, 2,359 a Republican ballot and 15 a Non-partisan ballot.
In addition, she says her office mailed 597 absentee ballots. Of that number, 408 had been returned as of Friday - 48 Democratic ballots, 355 Republican and five Non-partisan.
