Eight arrested after two drug search warrants in Forsyth County

By Alyson Shields Reporter
CUMMING - Eight people have been arrested in connection with two separate drug search warrants issued in Forsyth County last week.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the searches were conducted at Club Drive in Cumming and Brandywine Circle in Alpharetta in Forsyth County. Both searches yielded methamphetamines.

77 grams of meth were seized at the Brandywine Circle location, as well as one gram of cocaine, four grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, including packaging materials and scales.

"One house we found some meth, but at another house...we found 77 grams so it was obvious they were indeed trafficking meth," said Sheriff's Deputy Doug Rainwater.

Listed below are the names and charges of those arrested at the Brandywine Circle location:

*Noe Hernandez-Mendez, charged with two counts of sale of methamphetamine and one count of trafficking methamphetamine.

*Sonia Coronado, charged with two count of sale of methamphetamine and trafficking methamphetamine.

*Rigoberto Alvarado, charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

*Vincente Garcia was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

*Juan Bernal was charge with possession of methamphetamine.

Listed below are the names and charges of those arrested at the Club Drive location:

*Patrick Mendez, charged with possession of methamphetamine.

*Salena Ramirez-Montoya, charged with possession of methamphetamine.

All of those charged were taken to the Forsyth County Detention Center. Rainwater says no bond has been set for the group, who are not related.
