Baby killed, 3 injured in DeKalb Co. home invasion

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (AP) -- Police in suburban Atlanta say a 9-month old baby was killed and three other people were injured in a home invasion robbery.

Interim DeKalb County Police Chief Jim Conroy tells WSB-TV ( ) that a group of armed, masked men broke into a house in Stone Mountain Saturday night. Conroy says the baby and three women who were inside at the time were wounded, and the baby was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Detailed descriptions of the suspects and the shooters' potential motive weren't immediately available.
