Massey nominated for another Emmy; would make history with a win this year

LOS ANGELES - Chandler Massey, who plays Will Horton on NBC's "Days of Our Lives," has been nominated for another Daytime Emmy.

Massey is the son of Gainesville native Lewis Massey and the grandson of Abit and Kayanne Massey of Gainesville.

According to, Massey, who is nominated in the Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series category, could make history with a win this year.

It notes that Massey has won the Younger Actor prize twice in a row (2012, 2013), and if he wins again this year he would be only the second actor to win the category three times, and the first to do so in consecutive years.

The winners will be announced June 22.
