Study: UNG/Gainesville most 'underrated' college in Ga.

By Ken Stanford Reporter
Business Insider, a business and technology news Website, recently partnered with Niche to find the top schools in the country with great academics and high acceptance rates - and the University of North Georgia's Gainesville campus made the list.

To compile the list, Niche used its data for highest academics rankings, acceptance rates, and in-state population.

The report says "oftentimes, these schools' strong academic programs are overshadowed by the popular perception that a college is better if it's tough to get into. These colleges challenge that myth, and are smart - and potentially safe - options for student applicants."

(You can click on the first link below to view the report and the findings on each of the selected schools. Then, click on each individual school for a wealth of data about that school and comments from students. The second link takes you to the Niche Website where you will find more information about their work.)
