Parade will impact traffic in Cleveland today

By Dean Dyer, Staff
CLEVELAND - Motorists traveling to and through Cleveland today can expect lots of company and even some detours and delays.

The White County Chamber of Commerce and the Cabbage Patch Kids at BabyLand General Hospital will be holding the annual Magical Easter Eggstravaganza.

All of the activities will be held on the grounds of BabyLand, except for the Easter parade through downtown Cleveland.

The parade begins at 11 a.m., followed by cupcakes and carrots with Easter Bunny at 1 p.m., an egg hunt with 28,000 eggs at 2 p.m. and an aster bonnet contest at 3 p.m. There will be arts and crafts throughout the day.

There will be a detour route on city streets around downtown during the parade and Cleveland police ask travelers to plan according, and to expect delays.
