Manure truck overturns on Hwy. 51 in Banks Co.

By Staff
HOMER - With the rain already making for messy conditions on north Georgia roadways, the mess got worse in Homer Monday morning when a dump truck carrying manure overturned on Highway 51 near Gardiner Road.

Authorities reported the southbound lane of Highway 51 was closed while clean-up was underway.

Authorities did not say if the driver of the truck was injured.

The road has reopened.
