County manager confirms resignation of new animal control director in Barrow County

WINDER - Barrow County Manager Randall Dowling confirmed Friday afternoon that Danyal Harper, scheduled to take the position of Director Of Animal Control for Barrow County next week, has resigned.

It follows reports of Harper having posted supposedly humorous images on social media outlets of dead animals.

Harper held the position of Senior Animal Control Officer prior to his appointment as Director.
