VIDALIA - Eleven Georgia chefs will soon slice and dice the official state vegetable at the 37th Annual Vidalia Onion Festival. <br />

The 3rd Annual Golden Onion will be held on Sunday, April 27, in Vidalia on the final afternoon of the festival. This professional cooking competition showcases the famed Vidalia onion and also serves as a platform for chefs across Georgia to display their skills and creativity.<br />
