Tennis: Lady Knights blank East Hall, 5-0

OAKWOOD -- The Johnson girls tennis team blanked East Hall 5-0 on Wednesday in Oakwood.

Ashley Hogan took out Beverly Tellez 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Zdena Janderova defeated Yosselin Aparicio 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Karina Rivera also defeated Erin Martin 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

In doubles play, the Lady Knights' No. 1 team of Marissa Rodriquez/Anslie Bass won 6-0, 6-1 , while the No. 2 team of Julia Kay Mallory/Kaitlyn Houston won 6-0, 6-0.
