Blairsville woman killed in early morning crash

CLEVELAND - Investigators with the Georgia State Patrol have identified the person killed in a two-vehicle crash in White County Friday morning.

According to investigating troopers, the victim in the crash was 49-year-old Paula Jean Densmore from Blairsville. Trooper said she was driving southbound on Highway 129 near Westmoreland Road south of Cleveland when she crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head-on.

Densmore died at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, Jose Jimenez, 33, from Cornelia was taken to the hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries was unknown.

The accident happened just before 9 a.m.
