Soccer: Johnson boys pound Stephens County, 10-0

TOCCOA -- The newly-minted No. 1 team in Class AAAA Johnson boys stuffed Stephens County 10-0 on Monday in Toccoa.

Luis Deltoro led the Knights (10-0, 4-0 Region 8-AAAA) with three goals, while Barut Perez, Fabian Abarca and Luis Hernandez each scored twice. Jamie Rosales also scored and provided an assist.

Israel Avila also provided two assists, while Deltoro, Bryant Anaya and Edgar Torres also set up goals.

Johnson travels to Winder-Barrow on Tuesday.
