Baseball: Johnson, English lead Spartans past East Hall

OAKWOOD -- West Hall ran its win streak to three after taking a 13-3 win over East Hall Monday in Region 7-AAA action.

The Spartans (9-3, 5-2 Region 7-AAA) sit tied for third with North Hall after the Trojans lost 9-2 to Buford on Monday.

Cameron Johnson continued his solid work at the plate belting a home to go with three RBIs.

Zach English earned the win going 5 2/3 innings and fanning eight batters. He also hit a home run for West Hall. Will Simmons had two hits and four RBI for the Spartans.

The two teams will meet Wednesday at East Hall.
