Golf: Dawson County boys and girls each win in tri-match

The Dawson County boys and girls golf teams each claimed victory on Tuesday in matches against Fannin County and Buford.

The Tigers shot a 166 in the boys match, pushing pat Buford's 176. Fannin carded a 227.

Dawson's Jake Phillips earned low medallist honors with a 38.

Meanwhile, the Lady Tigers just eyed Buford 143-145; Fannin shot a 200.

Dawson County's Madison Caldwell led the way with a 2-under 34.
