Identities released in Hall Co. murder-suicide

GAINESVILLE - Hall County authorities have released the names of the victims of a murder-suicide that occurred over the weekend.

Investigators said 51-year-old Timmy Meeks and his 50-year-old wife Jimmie Faye Meeks both were found dead from gunshots wounds on Saturday morning.

The bodies were found at their residence on Baker Road just off Athens Highway at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Authorities said the incident appears to be domestic in nature.
