The Gainesville girls golf team held its fourth annual Chattahoochee Invitational on Saturday at Chattahoochee Golf Club, finishing just behind Class AAAAA opponent Cambridge (238), which shot a 241.
Cambridge standout, Rachel Dai won individual champion honors shooting a 73. Lady Red Elephants sophomore Ashleigh Bishop led Gainesville with a 76, good enough for second place individually.
Gainesville's Morgan Reece also shot 82 and Meg Callahan added an 83.
North Oconee finished third as a team with a 253.
Gainesville will play at Chateau Elan next Saturday where they it try to win its third tournament of the season.
