ALPHARETTA - Alpharetta and Forsyth County SWAT teams reportedly cornered an armed robbery suspect in south Forsyth County late Saturday morning.
According to Channel 2, the search area was between Georgia 400 and Highway 9 and Post Road and Bethelview Road.
Authorities were looking for Kinneth Battle in connection with the robbery of a BP gas station early Saturday morning on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta.
Police believe Battle and another man fled to a home in Forsyth County. The unidentified man is in custody while Battle was on the run, according to Channel Two.
Authorities said Battle may be carrying an AR-15 style rifle.
The suspects made off with a cash register from the business.
