Tennis: North Hall girls overpower Banks County

The North Hall girls tennis team swept past Banks County 5-0 on Tuesday, including a marathon match at No. 1 singles.

The Lady Trojans' Natalie Oxley battled back and forth with Lauren Carter before finally prevailing 7-8 (4-7), 6-4, 7-5 (after being down 4-5).

Kelsey McCray defeated Leia Rylee at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-2, while Tricia Dial took out Kaelen Standridge 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.

North Hall's Hannah Gibson/Kaitlyn Smith won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, while Courtney Barnes/McKay Higginbotham won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
