Baseball: North Hall opens region season with 13-7 win at Fannin

BLUE RIDGE -- North Hall baseball got its region campaign off to a winning start on Monday via a 13-7 win over Fannin County in Blue Ridge.

Drew Coker picked up the win on the mound, pitching a complete game while striking out four and allowing seven hits.

Micah Strickland helped lead the Trojans (3-3, 1-0 Region 7-AAA) at the plate, going 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, while Taber Mongero also went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Lincoln Hewett also provided 2 RBI, going 1-for-3.

North Hall will play host to Fannin County on Wednesday.
