Jackson chamber welcomes Ollie's

By Staff
JEFFERSON - Community Leaders gathered with Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce Members recently for a reception at the Commerce Business Center to formally welcome executives from Ollie's Bargain Outlet to the community.

Ollie's Senior Vice-President for Supply Chain/Distribution, Andre Dickeman, thanked all who attended and provided an update on their progress in moving into the one million-square-foot building. Dickeman said he expects the first trucks to start running from the Distribution Center in mid-April with completion of the interior construction upgrades to the building by mid-July.

Harrisburg, PA-based Ollie's announced back in January that it would locate its new Southeast Distribution Center in the Commerce 85 Industrial Park creating more than 170.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet is a retailer of closeouts, excess inventory, and salvage merchandise. The chain currently operates 157 stores in 14 states.
