Road Atlanta former employee arrested for theft

BRASELTON - The Hall County Sheriff's Office arrested Joseph Tomas Greene, Jr., 33, of Braselton on Tuesday for his involvement in the theft of over $75,000 from Road Atlanta.

Investigators say that Greene was employed by the racetrack and embezzeled the funds for his own personal use over a one year period.

Greene was taken into custody and booked on 47 counts of transaction card fraud and one count of felony theft by deception.

Greene is out of jail on a $30,000 bond.
