FBHS awarded 'honorable mention' in national video contest

BIG RAPIDS, MI - NOCTI has announced the winners in its annual video contest, "Journey to Success!" And, students in the Broadcast Video Production program at Flowery Branch High School have earned honors for their submission.

NOCTI, a provider of assessments and assessment-related services for Career Technical Education (CTE) programs across the nation, launched the national video contest in September 2011. The contest was designed to challenge CTE students to create an original two-minute video that showcased the value and relevance of CTE in building the nation's workforce.

The Broadcast Video Production program at Flowery Branch High School is taught by instructor Sidney Bryant. The video contest prize package includes a cash prize as well as a pizza party for the students. The winning videos can be viewed via the NOCTI website link listed below.
