Tennis: North Hall boys knock off Gainesville, 4-1

The North Hall boys tennis team defeated Gainesville 4-1 on Thursday.

North Hall (1-0) swept the doubles points and took the No. 2 and 3 singles points to claim victory.

The Trojans' Jackson Davis defeated Reagan Williams 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 at No. 2 singles, while Dalton Patterson claimed the No. 3 singles point over Roan Thompson, 6-0, 6-2.

North Hall's No. 1 doubles team of Matt Booth/Paxton Gillespie prevailed 6-2, 6-4, while the No. 2 team of Dawson Smith/Reid Lattanzi won 7-6 (7-5), 6-3.

Gainesville's Graham McKinnon defeated North Hall's Jeffery Kiser 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.

North Hall travels to Pell City, Ala., to play in the Pell City Invitational this weekend.
