Yates seeking 3rd term on Jackson County Commission

By Staff
HOSCHTON - Jackson County Commissioner Bruce Yates says he plans to run for a third term this year.

Yates, a Republican, was elected in 2006 and re-elected in 2010. He is retired from the Jackson County school system.

"We'll focus on the efficient use of tax dollars, sustained economic growth and jobs for our citizens as well as equal access to county facilities," Yates said. "West Jackson citizens realize the work we've done and the work we'll do in a new term."
