Father/son arrested in Hall drug bust

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad arrested two Hall County men yesterday following a search of their Benefield Court home.

Joseph Shawn Ledbetter, 34, and his father, Randall Dean Ledbetter, 61, were taken into custody without incident, according to Lt. Scott Ware.

"During the course of the search, agents seized five firearms, LSD, methamphetamine, marijuana and Carisoprodol."

Spokesman Lt. Scott Ware said the cumulative street value of the drugs was approximately $2,670.

Joseph Ledbetter was charged with:

~Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute

~Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute

~Possession of LSD with the Intent to distribute

~Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (5cts)

~Felony Possession of Marijuana

Randall Ledbetter was charged with:

~ Possession of Carisoprodol with the Intent to Distribute

Both men were booked in at the Hall County Jail.
