Funeral services set for area EMT/firefighter

ELBERTON - An area EMT and firefighter will be remembered in funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Elberton.

Bradley Michael Eavenson, 31, of Elberton died in a single-vehicle wreck in Newton County on Friday, Feb. 14.

Eavenson was a firefighter for Newton County and Barrow County, worked part-time for Elbert County Emergency Services and formerly was with Banks County Fire Department. In addition, Eavenson and Steven Casey owned and operated Southern Outdoor Services.

Burial, will full firefighter honors, will follow Monday's service in the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery, where he was a member.

The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home in Elberton from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
