Some N.Ga. post offices will open on President's Day

UNDATED - More than two dozen metro Atlanta and north Georgia post offices plan to be open on Monday, even though it's a federal holiday.

The United States Postal Service is trying to recover from the snow and ice storm that kept local offices from conducting business for at least two days this past week. So, 27 offices - including those in Gainesville, Cumming, Lawrenceville and Buford in north Georgia - will be open for business on President's Day.

According to a press release from USPS the offices will be open from 9 a.m.. to 5 p.m. and will provide full retail services.
