GAINESVILLE - The New Shanghai Circus performance scheduled Thursday night in Gainesville has been moved to Sunday afternoon because of the expected lingering effects of this week's wintry weather.
The performance will begin 2:30 in Pearce Auditorium on the Brenau University campus, according to Gladys Wyant, Executive Director of The Arts Council, which is bringing the group to town.
And, Wyant says there are still tickets available. Tickets can be ordered online at the link below.
The Arts Council was closed Wednesday because of the weather but Wyant says they hope to reopen Thursday.
Should the Gainesville City Council give their approval to a lease agreement at a voting session Tuesday evening, SAFFT will occupy vacant space at the Gainesville Community Service Center on Prior Street, and the sooner the better according to SAFFT’s Executive Director Ashley Anderson.
