Man injured in fall from third floor of Mall Of Georgia

BUFORD - Gwinnett County fire officials say a person who fell from the third floor of a shopping mall remains hospitalized.

Fire Department spokesman Lt. Colin Rhoden said the person fell near the food court at the Mall of Georgia in Buford on Sunday afternoon.

Gwinnett County police said the victim is a man who appeared to be in his early 40s and he was taken to the Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville.

The man's identity was not immediately available.

It wasn't immediately clear how the man fell over the railing, although authorities believe the fall was accidental.
