Mt. Airy issues a boil water advisory

By Staff
MT. AIRY - In what has become an ongoing problem for the city, Mt. Airy officials have issued yet another boil water advisory for the city's water customers.

This time the culprit is a water leak in a four-inch line on Main St. at 4th St., according to an alert issued by the city.

All water taken from city taps for consumption after 1 p.m. should be boiled. The advisory will remain in place for 48 hrs.
