Girls basketball: Lakeview cruises past Lumpkin County

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy girls basketball team stormed past Lumpkin County 61-33 on Saturday in Gainesville.

The Lady Lions (14-6) led 20-13 after the first quarter and 35-18 at the half.

Kristin Copeland scored 14 points to pace Lakeview, while Schyler Miller added 13.

Ryleigh Baum scored seven for Lumpkin County.

Lakeview travels to Pinecrest Academy on Tuesday.
