Dahlonega chamber hosts 'meet and greet' with local officials

DAHLONEGA - The Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Meet & Greet for community members and local officials recently.

The event allowed residents some one-on-one time with elected officials, sharing opinions about current issues, and offering suggestions for the future.

Representing the City of Dahlonega was Mayor Gary McCullough and Council Members Terry Peters, Michael Clemons, Mitchell Ridley, Roman Gaddis and Bruce Hoffman. Representing Lumpkin County was County Commission Chairman Chris Dockery and Commissioners Doug Sherrill, Steve Shaw, Clarence Stowers and Clarence Grindle.

In their remarks, Mayor McCullough & Chairman Dockery shared their goals for the upcoming year. The common theme in their comments was the importance of strengthening the partnership between the City and County for the future success of Dahlonega-Lumpkin County.
