Girls basketball: Lakeview overwhelms Prince Avenue

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy girls basketball team fought past Prince Avenue 59-39 on Tuesday in Gainesville.

The Lady Lions pulled ahead 17-10 after the first quarter and maintained their advantage the rest of the way, holding Prince Avenue to just five third quarter points.

Hannah Grogan scored 15 to lead Lakeview, while Schyler Miller added 14 and Danielle Morgan scored 10.

Jordyn Smith paced Prince Avenue with 13 points.
