Boys basketball: Lakeview notches win over George Walton

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team grabbed an early lead and held on for a 45-37 win over George Walton Academy on Saturday in Gainesville.

The Lions led 14-8 after the first quarter and pushed away from a 19-17 halftime score with 12 third-quarter points.

Lakeview Academy (9-6, 4-2 Region 8-A) plays host to Prince Avenue Christian at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
