Girls basketball: Flowery Branch takes out North Hall

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls basketball team sprinted to a 18-7 lead and held on for a 57-46 win over North Hall on Saturday in Flowery Branch.

The Lady Trojans (10-4) pulled within 41-36 at the start of the fourth quarter but could not close the gap on the Lady Falcons (6-8).

Breanna Locke paced Flowery Branch with 15 points and nine rebounds, while Julianne Sutton, Heather Moore and Kylah Mize each scored eight.

North Hall travels to face Buford on Tuesday.

Flowery Branch travels to face Loganville on Tuesday.
