Hawks request waivers on F Cartier Martin

ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Hawks have waived forward Cartier Martin.

The move was announced Tuesday by general manager Danny Ferry.

Martin signed with the Hawks during the preseason and appeared in 25 games with two starts. He averaged 6.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 17.5 minutes per game.
