By Rob Moore Reporter
MT . AIRY - Customers of the Mt. Airy Water System are cautioned to boil their water through 2 a.m. Thursday.

The town issued the.boil water advisory after an overnight water main break on Lakeside Drive in Mt. Airy.

All water for consumption should be brought to a boil first.

As of 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, town officials report repairs have been made that will restore water service to the town, with only four houses that still will be without water.

"I'm getting a lot of calls about people who still don't have water," said Councilman Adam Tullis around 8:20 a.m. "The well pumps are back on filling the lines. Tanks should be cut on shortly, and everyone should have full pressure by 10 a.m.
