Boys basketball: Lakeview stumbles late in loss to Pinecrest

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team suffered a 58-54 defeat to Pinecrest Academy on Friday in Gainesville.

The Lions (7-5) took a 32-27 lead at the half but were outscored 22-10 in the fourth quarter.

Tre Gober scored 11 points, while Josh Randolph and Paul Avery each added 10 for Lakeview.

Michael Buckner put up 16 for Pinecrest, while Nick Palmer scored 15.

Lakeview plays at Tullulah Falls on Tuesday.
