New Year's baby comes on the second in Habersham County

DEMOREST - Habersham Medical Center's first baby of the new year came Thursday at 3:53 p.m.

April James of Habersham Medical Center said little Leah Rose Harris weighed six pounds, one ounce and was 18 and three-quarters inches long.

Her proud parents are Sandy and Donald Harris of Cleveland and other brother and sister, Isaac and Rachel.

Leah was delivered by Doctor Thomas Hatchett.
