Banks County investigating accidental shooting

LULA - A Banks County man was airlifted after suffering a gunshot wound Friday evening.

Banks County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Deputy Carissa McFadden said the incident, which happened around 5:30 p.m., is being investigated as an accidental shooting to an adult male.

The incident occurred at a residence off Moccasin Gap Road near Lula.

Additional details are not immediately available.
