Softball: Jackson County gets 8-AAA win over Hart County

JEFFERSON -- Senior Mason Garland had three hits and scored two run to lead Jackson County to a 9-3 win over Hart County Tuesday on Senior Night in Region 8-AAA action.

Peyton Sorrells pitched six innings and finished with six strike outs to earn the win for the Lady Panthers. Jessica Baker pitched the final inning in relief with one strike out.

Shelton Kendrix also had three hits, scored three times and had two RBI for Jackson County. went 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Sorrells added RBIat the plate and Victoria Woods had one RBI for the Lady Panthers.

Alyssa Dasher, Madi Pecht, and Jordan Evans each had two hits and Alyssa Graves and Baker had one hit apiece(1).





Next contest for Jackson County will be Thursday, September 26th at 5:30pm at East Jackson.
