Softball: Gainesville goes 1-1 at Brookwood Invitational

Gainesville softball went 1-1 Saturday in the Brookwood Invitational tournament.

The Lady Red Elephants defeated Central Gwinnett 19-7, led by Kara England in the pitching circle with four strikeouts. Anisa Gannon lead the team going 3-for-6 on the day with three RBI. England, Courtney Presnell, and Kayla Montague went 2-3 on the day with Whitney Ledford going 2-5 with 2 RBIs.

Gainesville plays again on Monday at Norcross.
