Reward offered for suspicious early morning fire

By Alyson Shields Reporter
GAINESVILLE - A reward is offered to anyone who can provide information about a potential arsonist responsible for a suspicious house fire two weeks ago in Gainesville.

Hall County Fire Services posted on their Facebook page earlier today about a $10,000 reward for any information leading an arrest for an early morning fire of a vacant house.

The house was located on Grant Ford Road and caught fire around 3 am on September 7. Firefighters were deterred by a locked gate and downed trees. Upon arrival, the home was almost completely engulfed in flames and there were signs of vandalism.

Any information can be reported to the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office by phone at 770-531-6838, or to the Arson Tip Hotline at 1-800-282-5804
