By staff
DAHLONEGA -- White County's offense kept rolling, and the Warriors stormed to a 31-0 win over Lumpkin County on Friday in Dahlonega.

The Warriors put up 372 total yards in the victory, including 69 yards rushing and two touchdowns for Dalton Whitfield.

Maurice Sutton also rushed for 79 yards and a score, while Clancy Loudermilk added a 38-yard fourth quarter touchdown. Wesley Saunders also drilled a 40-yard field goal for White County (2-0).

Lumpkin County (0-2) put up 210 total yards on the night and was intercepted twice by the Warriors defense -- once each by Will Flowers and Coley Loudermilk.

White County will look to move to 3-0 and 1-0 in Region 7-AAA next week when the Warriors play host to Fannin County.

Lumpkin County, meanwhile, will look to get its first win when West Hall travels to Dahlonega next week.
