Bulldogs pick up Arkansas for 2014 football schedule

ATHENS -- The 2014 University of Georgia football schedule released by the Southeastern Conference Wednesday shows the Bulldogs playing annual rival Auburn (home) and Arkansas (away) from the west in addition to all six eastern division teams.

The schedule is front and back loaded with home games-four of the first five and the last three in a row.

Meanwhile, South Carolina will host Texas A&M next year in the first conference football game to be televised on the Southeastern Conference Network. The game will take place on Thursday, Aug. 28.

Elsewhere, Florida drew a tough assignment, as Alabama rotated onto the Gators' schedule.

Georgia's 2014 non-conference schedule includes opening at home with Clemson and games with Troy, Charleston Southern and the traditional season ending game at Georgia Tech.
