Softball: Jefferson takes pair of wins at Hawk/Bulldog

HOSCHTON -- The Jefferson girls softball team took a pair of wins in the Hawk/Bulldog Invitational Wednesday at West Jackson Park.

Jefferson won the first 5-0 over Mountain View behind Savannah Snapp. In the second game, Caitlin Cantrell led the Lady Dragons to a 2-0 victory over Lanier.

In the first game, Snapp scattered eight hits and walked none to earn the win. Ashley Boyd, Snapp, and Olivia Husted each had two hits for Jefferson. Jordan Phillips and Husted each had two RBI.

In the second game, Cantrell fanned six and yielded six hits. Emily Duffy had two hits and Raegan Sandy, Erin Jackson, Boyd, Snapp, and Husted all had one hit for the Lady Dragons (2-2).
