Vehicle hits building in Gainesville

By Staff
GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Police and emergency crews responded to a business Wednesday afternoon, after a vehicle ran into the building.

"A lady pulled off into the O'Reilly Auto Parts parking lot and apparently blacked out and ran into the side of the building," Gainesville Police Corporal Joe Britte said.

Britte described the damage to the building as minor. The motorist wasn't injured.

"The vehicle was able to drive off with just minor damage. The lady who had sought medical attention at the time was looked at on the scene and released," Britte said.

He said the store on Browns Bridge Road near Pearl Nix Parkway remained open for business.
