Volleyball: North Hall sweeps; Lakeview 1-1 in tri-match

GAINESVILLE -- North Hall won both contests, while Lakeview split battles in a tri-match at North Hall on Tuesday.

The Lady Trojans swept Lumpkin County, 25-13 and 25-9, and then knocked off Lakeview 25-19, 25-21.

Kristina Gregory had 21 assists and seven aces for the Lady Trojans, while Julie Daniels had three kills, three aces, five digs and a block. Juliana Paschall also had six kills and one block, and Jen Mullican had eight kills and two digs. Andi Fleming also supplied five digs and three aces, while MaKenzie Bryant had six digs and three aces. Kalyn Dyer had six kills and four aces; Megan Maxwell had six kills.

Meanwhile, Lakeview also defeated Lumpkin County 25-9, 25-16.

Katie White led Lakeview with 11 kills, three aces and 15 digs. Shelby Ross also added 10 kills and five aces, while Bailey Towles had 14 assists and Samantha Versteeg had 29 digs. Peaches Shipley also had five blocks.

Lakeview will play host to West Hall and Chestatee at home in Gainesville on Thursday.
